Yesterday I had a small class, actually a one-on-one Mixed Media. I had been thinking about how to teach this for a while, and yesterday helped connect the dots for me. I’m so looking forward now to organizing this class, and then offering it. I think it can help a lot of people. You just don’t realize (perhaps) how much art can help alleviate stress and lift your mood! Here are 2 pieces I created in the same day… for different reasons… but still.. I feel SO GOOD about accomplishing them!


I love the colors in this one as I strived (strove) for balance, much like I’m looking for balance in my life. Art helps with that. The feeling of creating something is like no other.
The ghosts below were a creation for my Art Journaling group. We have daily prompts and yesterday’s was Ghosts.
