Coming up…

This weekend looks to be a busy one! 1st Friday starts at 5pm but Before that… we are getting things ready for the Holiday Art EXPO sponsored by the Illinois Art league which will be held Saturday (10-3) at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Peoria. There are snacks to buy, copies to be made, floors to tape, tables to drag out and chairs to place. Oh. wait those last couple happen After 5pm… While 1st Friday is going on at the same location but in the room adjacent to the one we will set up in.

Setup will actually begin Saturday morning, much to our dismay, at 8:00am. But.. back to Friday night. While 1st Friday is happening with open mic etc at St. Pauls, we will also be having 1st Friday over at my new art gallery: Art Korner in Germantown Hills! So I need to be back there by 4:ish… as we open at 5:00 for that one too. What a busy night! Then comes Saturday, the Holiday Art EXPO.. setup at 8am, EXPO opens at 10am.. whew!

I ordered a new sandwich sign this year as the one we haul out every year is Quite heavy and getting more challenging by the year. Also, I ordered a tall slim pine tree to set in my booth with ornaments and such on it. Oh, yes.. I need to get those ornaments MADE!! Arggghhh… well happy trails. I hope you find enough to do this weekend.. if not, it’s not for us not putting it all out there for you! 😉
